Thank you so much for coming to our website! My name is Amanda and I am the dreamer of the group. I am a busy full time wife, full time mother to 3 children, full time worker as an Occupational Therapist in the home health setting, and now I am a co-founder of a small non profit organization.
My biggest desire is to help others live safely and independently in their home within their own functional levels. As an Occupational Therapist, I have been trained to assess safety and function as well as consult on home modifications that will improve independence. Now I will be able to follow through on those recommendations by teaming up with donors to fund these causes. So many people are dependent on health insurance to foot the bill for any and all assistive devices and the grim reality is that very little is covered by major insurance companies. Thus the reason for this organization.
Over the next few weeks we will be adding biographies for all of the directors of the organization. And once a week we will be posting on the current projects we are involved in.
